Notice is given that the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Triathlon Western Australia Incorporated will take place at the following date and location:

IN PERSON ATTENDANCE

Date: Wednesday 21 October, 2026

Time: 6pm

Location: WA Rugby Centre, Multifunction Room, 203 Underwood Ave, Floreat WA 6014

ONLINE ATTENDANCE

MS Teams (must register to receive link)

(Proxy Forms to be received no later than 6pm Monday 19 October)

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

An election will take place to fill THREE (3) Elected Board Positions.

Nominations Received: Richard Burnell, Henrietta Farrell, Sasha Johnson, Alexandra Krebs. 

In line with section 25.2 (5) of the TWA Constitution, the number of nominations received was more than the number of vacancies to be filled. A secret ballot for election will be required at the AGM. 

Pursuant to Rule 21.1 of the Constitution, each Individual Member and Life Member over the age of 18 years at the time of the Annual General Meeting is entitled to one (1) vote at that Annual General Meeting.  

Voting will take place at the AGM either in person or online, for any online members. Instructions will be provided to all voting members on the day.

Committee will be provided prior to the AGM).

PROXY VOTING

Pursuant to Rule 22.1, each voting Member is entitled to appoint in writing, a natural person who is also a voting Member of the Association to be the Member’s proxy, and to attend and vote on the Member’s behalf at any General Meeting of the Association.

Completed proxy forms should be sent to ricky.smith@wa.triathlon.org.au (Executive Director) and must be received by no later than 6pm Monday 19 October 2026 (48 hours before any meeting or adjourned meeting, at which the person named in the instrument proposes to vote).
