ABOUT TRIATHLON WA
Triathlon Western Australia (TWA) is the State Sporting Organisation responsible for the development, promotion and governance of the sport of triathlon throughout Western Australia. TWA a not-for-profit organisation which is governed by the Board. TWA is one of eight State/Territory Associations, which make up the membership of the national body, Triathlon Australia.
Triathlon WA’s purpose is to achieve a sustainable sport in which members and stakeholders are well serviced and represented. TWA looks to inspire Western Australians to embrace triathlon as a lifestyle, recreation, or sporting pursuit.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Executive Director will lead the strategic development and execution of TWA with a view to grow the sport through participation initiatives, strategic engagement and commercial value.
The Executive Director will provide leadership to and the management of the employees of TWA to deliver operations aligned to the strategic plan approved by the Board.
ABOUT YOU:
You will bring strong operational skills at a senior executive level with a track record of delivering strategic outcomes. You will be an individual committed to excellence with a proven ability to foster positive stakeholder relationships, grow participation, events and commercial stability and provide overall operational management of the organisation.
You will hold Tertiary Qualification(s) in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is required. Ideally we would like to see experience within the areas of Business, Sport Management and/or Event Management.

SUMMARY INFORMATION:
Job Type: Fixed term contract August 2022 – 30 June 2023.
Salary: $110-120K depending on experience.
The position is full time; however a flexible approach to working hours is required due to the nature of working within a state sports association. The nature of the position requires some out of hours and weekend work, which is recognised in the remuneration package offered.
