Triathlete of the Year Awards reward both participation and performance in the Triathlon WA State Triathlon Series. To be eligible for an award, athletes must have participated in at least three (3) out of seven (7) rounds of State Triathlon Series events. An athlete’s best five (5) results were considered in the point scores, with awards presented to the top three (3) eligible athletes in the Open category, and 5 year age categories for 20+.
