The teenage participation training initiative is the next step following the TRYstars program for secondary aged children who are interested in participatin in triathlon. The focus is around building skills and encouraging participation in a supported, enjoyable and safe environment. A focus is on building skill and the ability to compete rather than focusing on racing.

Break Your Limits Training Academy
In conjunction with Mike Gee from Pursuit Coaching, Break Your Limits Triathlon Academy have developed a program with focus on athletes aged between 13 and 23 with the aim to develop these junior athletes’ skills in a fun, supportive, exciting environment and promote lifelong participation and enjoyment in the sport of triathlon.
Monday: Swim Squad - 6.00pm; Scotch College, Swanbourne
Tuesday: Run Intervals - 5.00pm; WA Atheltics Stadium, Mt Claremont
Thursday: Bike Intervals - 5.45am; Nedlands Rugby Club
Friday: Open Water Swim Sessions - 6.00am; Cottesloe Beach (Oct-May)
Saturday: Brick (ride/run) Session - 6.30am
Cost: $125/month + Triathlon Australia/Break Your Limits Membership
EFS Junior triathlon Academy
In conjunction with Leisurefit Booragoon, EFS Triathlon Club is bringing youth and juniors into the exciting swim/bike/run sport of triathlon. The intiative aims to retain and grow more unique activity options for young people outside school hours to provide healthy lifestyle options and guidance early in their development.
Up to 3 sessions per week.
7-11 year olds - skills, fitness and local junior events
12-14 year olds - skills, fitness, schools triathlon, club events and TWA series
Tuesday: Run Session - 5.30pm
Wednesday: Bike Session - 6.00pm
Thrusday: Swim session - 6.00pm
Cost: $66/month + Triathlon Australia/EFS Triathlon Club Membership
